✳ Phoenix public events · collectives · promoters
Your crowd.
Our space.
One night.
Got an idea worth getting people out of the house for? You bring the lineup, the promotion and the creative vision. We run ticketing, sound, lighting and the venue crew.

01 / Make it yours
Not another room.
A whole experience.
This is for people building public, ticketed nights: promoters, collectives, artists and creators who want to make Phoenix more interesting.

DJ nights & raves
House, techno, bass, multi-DJ lineups, intimate takeovers and genre-defying concepts.

Art & collectives
Exhibitions, creator nights, immersive installations and collaborative experiences.

Something different?
Themed experiences, pop-ups, community events and ideas that don't fit a category.

02 / The partnership
Clear terms. Shared upside.
Our standard collective deal gives your idea a home without a private-buyout price. These are starting terms, and every event is reviewed on its own.
Sun–Thu
$750
venue minimum
Deposit to hold the date$500
Split above the minimum70% to you
Friday
$1,000
venue minimum
Deposit to hold the date$500
Split above the minimum70% to you
Saturday
$1,500
venue minimum
Deposit to hold the date$500
Split above the minimum70% to you
How the money works
- 1. Hold the date. Once we approve your event and you sign, a $500 deposit holds it. The deposit is not an extra fee: it comes back to you at settlement.
- 2. Sell tickets. We run ticketing, so we can both see presales. If presales haven't covered the minimum 3 days before the event, the gap is due then. Anything you prepay comes back at settlement.
- 3. Settle up. The Drop takes the venue minimum first, out of net ticket sales. Everything above it is split 70% to you and 30% to The Drop, and you get your deposit back. If sales come in under the minimum, the deposit covers the gap first and we invoice the rest.
Net ticket sales means ticket sales minus refunds and the card-processing and ticketing fees on them. Your settlement report shows every line. Standard terms cover up to 5 hours on the night; extra time, security, staffing or production are quoted in your agreement before the date is held.
Have a different deal in mind?
New promoter, recurring series, big audience or a strong creative concept? We can look at custom minimums, splits and co-productions for the right fit.
Example settlement
Net ticket sales
- Net ticket sales
- $3,000
- Sun–Thu venue minimum (to The Drop)
- −$750
- Left to split
- $2,250
- Your 70%
- $1,575
- Deposit back to you
- $500
The Drop keeps $1,425: the minimum plus 30% of the rest. Assumes only the $500 deposit was prepaid. An illustration, not a quote.

06 / The details
Good to know.
Is the $500 deposit an extra charge?
No. It holds your approved date and comes back to you at settlement once ticket sales cover the venue minimum. If sales fall short, it goes toward the shortfall first.
Do I pay the rest of the minimum before the event?
Only if presales haven't covered it. 3 days before the event we compare presales to the minimum, and any gap is due then. Anything you prepaid comes back at settlement, the same way the deposit does.
What if ticket sales don't cover the minimum?
The organizer still owes the venue minimum. The deposit is applied first and we invoice the rest at settlement. Different arrangements can be agreed in writing before the date is held.
Does The Drop take 30% of all ticket sales?
No. The Drop takes the venue minimum first, out of net ticket sales. Only what's left above the minimum is split, 70% to you and 30% to The Drop.
What does “net ticket sales” mean?
Ticket sales minus refunds and the card-processing and ticketing platform fees on those sales. Your settlement report lists each line.
How long is the event?
Up to 5 hours on the night. Extra time, extra security, staffing or production are quoted in your agreement before the date is held.
Can I negotiate the terms or pitch a series?
Yes. We look at each pitch on its own: audience size, day of week, recurring dates, production needs and track record. Tell us what you have in mind.
Is my date held once I send the form?
No. A date is held after we approve the event, you sign the agreement and we receive the $500 deposit. Refund and date-transfer terms are in the agreement.
